Grassland Layering

Words by Matt Huxley

I really really hate grass. So being forced to sit on it for this post was absolutely torturous. But it provided the best backdrop for this shoot. You’re welcome!

Winter is my absolute favourite season, so now that it’s getting colder, I’m relishing the chance to get out my winter jumpers and coats and layer up. I love inserting a pop of colour into an otherwise monochrome look. It really just makes it a bit different and bright for winter.

For this look I wore a black shawl-neck jumper from French Connection that I’ve had for years, some Armani Exchange jeans, a Tarocash fine knit, Zu points and a chartreuse henley tee from Cotton On (chartreuse is so last season, but meh).

The pop of the lime green against the black and grey is super easy to wear. Even in a fucking field.
