Autumn is one of my absolutely favourite seasons. It starts to get colder and a bit wetter and you can wear more layers, which is absolutely a plus for me because it means I can afford to put on a few extra kilos. Not that I need to.
Red and black check (or plaid in ‘Merica) is absolutely everywhere right now. It’s having a serious moment. So when I started shopping for my Autumn wardrobe I knew I simply had to include it. I stumbled across this uber cool blanket scarf in the Topman sale section, because I’m poor like that.
I really wanted to make this gigantic, hairy scarf the main feature of the look so I kept the rest neutral with this black v-neck from Country Road, grey jeans from fuck knows where, and grey fingerless gloves from River Island – which I’m absolutely loving right now!
Now to be honest, I probably should’ve looked at a few tutorials on how to wear this scarf, I feel as though I slightly failed. So if you have better ways of wearing it, let me know down in the comments!
This spread was shot by the wonderfully talented Ryan Young. Check out more of his work here.
